Permitting Specialist

Description

Ambia Solar seeks a Permitting Specialist for the Solar division. The ideal candidate has experience in general business and/or contractor permitting and is a self-starter. This position will be based in Ambia’s HQ, located in Provo, UT, although remote options may also be available.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Determine building permitting requirements for new market the company operates in or expands to.
• Meet all building permitting requirements through application submission with the appropriate AHJ's.
• Ensure permits are completed and sent out to all necessary crews.
• Communicate with third party contractors,design team, and AHJ's through various means (phone, email, etc.).
• Maintain accurate records of building permits and the status they are in.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Permitting experience
• Highly organized and structured
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate with internal and external groups.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-growth environment
