About the role
The Director, People Experience and Diversity Programs is responsible for building and executing on plans for employee experience and diversity programs and events that foster a best-in-class employee experience and support our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) strategy. This is a highly visible role to all levels of employees that will seek out and listen to all sources of employee feedback, spanning from quarterly engagement surveys to direct conversations with employees. This role will champion employee feedback by driving and/or influencing action-oriented outcomes working with People Team leaders, the Employee Experience team, HRBPs and business leaders. Working with the Chief People Officer and members of the People Leadership team, this role will develop and lead a communications strategy to regularly promote and educate our employees about programs and initiatives that support employee satisfaction, celebrate the diversity of our workforce and foster connection and belonging across the Model N community.
Responsibilities:
- Create a plan to utilize all existing and new sources of employee feedback to identify trends, insights, and gaps in the employee experience and DEIB strategies; develop and report out on metrics that measure progress and effectiveness and drive accountability.
- Lead our quarterly employee experience survey process; analyze feedback and develop presentations to communicate engagement trends.
- Monitor other sources of employee feedback (e.g., new hire surveys, exit surveys, etc.), glean insights from their feedback and ensure these data points are translated into action items for the People Team and the business.
- Identify opportunities to regularly meet with employees (virtually and in person) to keep a pulse on employee satisfaction.
- Oversee our annual events and recognition calendar and guide the execution of People Experience and DEIB programs performed by Sr. Specialist, People Experience & DEIB.
- Establish strong partnerships across all HR Centers of Excellence to drive action on our strategic action plan to attract, grow, and retain diverse talent and to create an environment that is a best-in-class experience for our employees.
- Manage the content and communications plan for employee experience and diversity programs in partnership with Corporate Communications, including written communications, presentations, and internal intranet resources that drive an inclusive employee experience.
- Champion our recognition program strategy that support our employees and align with our core values and DEIB practices.
- Lead Model N’s Global Diversity Council and oversee program management of employee resource groups.
- Prepare our annual EEO-1 report and participate in content development for our annual ESG report.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in employee-facing roles in human resources, communications, or marketing fields, preferably focusing on employee experience and/or diversity initiatives.
- Passion for building best-in-class employee experience where all employees feel welcomed and have a strong sense of inclusion and belonging.
- Strong meeting facilitation and presentation skills; excellent project management abilities.
- Action oriented, able to take an idea and run with it to execution; “can-do” attitude.
- Comfortable working independently and not afraid to ask questions and take the initiative to figure things out.
- Resilient and able to work with unexpected challenges to get things done.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced work environment where the ability to juggle multiple priorities is a must.
- A successful track record of synthesizing data and using analytics to prepare and deliver strategic presentations to audiences across all levels of an organization.
- Excellent listener, strong sense of empathy and able to build trust and credible, genuine relationships with all levels of employees.
- Prior management skills preferred, not required.
- High working proficiency in Office 365 tools especially PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel.
- Ability to travel to our various offices to meet with employees, up to 25% of time.
