Project Portfolio Manager

What is the job about?  

The Projects Portfolio Manager (PPM) will be responsible for leading a program of projects within an agreed scope. The PPM will lead the opportunity from handover from sales through to order fulfillment with the emphasis of the role being on creating winning and profitable proposals to form the foundation for the global municipal capex projects business. The Project Portfolio Manager reports directly to the Head of Global Project Sales Office and will operate daily out of the Brookshire, TX facility in a hybrid function. Please note that the selected candidate should reside locally.

 

Your main responsibilities:  

• Owning the delivery of project opportunities from handover, sales to order fulfillment and close out.
• Ensuring submissions meet the governance requirements of Grundfos.
• Working with other Grundfos functions to develop technically and commercially robust proposals that manage risk, scope and margin.
• Working alongside sales and other stakeholders to negotiate the final offers and contracts with customers.
• Ensure the appropriate supply chain and project execution arrangements are in place to deliver the project to time, cost and scope.

 

Your background 

We imagine that you have:   

• Good commercial acumen.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant.
• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Understanding Grundfos systems.
• Knowledge of the supply chain and supply chain processes.
• Experience with project management.
• Ability to collaborate and work closely with internal departments.
• Experience with the commercial aspects of sales activities.
• The ability to operate daily out of the Brookshire, TX facility in a hybrid function.
• A willingness to travel up to 10% if necessary. As a result, candidates should be able to maintain valid identification.

 

Please note that relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidate must have the authorization to work in the USA without support.
