We are seeking a Senior Design Program Manager to join our AI Product Design team with a focus on building standards, and processes, and fostering a creative environment for cross-functional teams. Reporting to the Head of AI Product Design, the Senior Design Program Manager plays a key role in collaborative strategic problem-solving, holistic systems thinking, and coaching. The Senior Design Program Manager will have a wide reach across several Product Engineering teams, spearheading end-to-end design roadmap definition, execution, and delivery within SDLC parameters.

What you'll do

 

• Partner closely with product and development teams throughout the design lifecycle with a focus on managing priorities, resolving issues and fostering collaboration.
• Manage risks proactively, anticipate potential issues, implement appropriate mitigations and remove blockers or escalate accordingly.
• Apply in-depth knowledge and understanding of program management concepts, methodologies and tools and wielding them to support cross functional teams.
• Expertise in analyzing and aggregating project and program-level metrics into executive-level dashboards and/or status reports.
• Ability to prioritize and lead prioritization of work with minimum direction in a complex and diverse environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• Leverage design knowledge to collaborate with stakeholders to define, plan, and design the appropriate end-to-end experiences and solutions to achieve design & product desired outcomes.
• Apply and promote HCD and Project management best practices
• · Experience delivering multiple parallel releases across complex landscape, in which several product teams are building product features and managing designs.
• · Optimize the operations of programs including roles, responsibilities, process and approach. Also optimize resource capacity and demand management.
• · Mentor and coach Producers within their program group.
• · Other duties as assigned or requested.

 

What you'll bring: 

• 6+ years’ experience in Program Management in Design/Product fields
• 5+ years’ experience in Agile Project Management frameworks
• Experience working with Design teams
• Passion for process, innovation, and experience
