About the role

Technical Writer, Junior

The Opportunity:

As a collaborator on all aspects of oral and written communications, you’ll create strategic plans, proposals, marketing collateral, presentations, and more. Your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform key audiences through words and images. You will write and edit technical documentation, user manuals and sales and training literature.

Work with us as we design, develop, and produce content to propel our clients' climate and infrastructure missions forward.

You Have:   

  • Experience in scientific technical writing

  • Experience working with a cross-functional team  

  • Experience creating documents in Microsoft Word, including using Styles

  • Ability to create strategic communication collateral

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or English

Nice If You Have:   

  • Experience with knowledge management and cloud-based document management

  • Knowledge of federal government writing styles and proposal processes
