This position is located in Melbourne, FL.
In this role, you will gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. You will produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).
Key Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
- Works from diagrams, drawings, and parts lists to compile technical data and interpret parts against NG and Mil-Spec documentation.
- Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data.
- Uses a computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports.
- Develops processes and procedures for assemblies and material handling
- Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies according to specifications.
- Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
- Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing 50lbs
- Ability to operate company-owned motor vehicles
- Ability to handle and assemble small parts
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Atlassian Suite, MS Word and Excel.
- Experience with Cable Harnesses and Assemblies
- Active DoD Security Clearance and Program Access
