Tenured: Associate Professor or Professor of Economics

The Department of Economics in the College of Arts & Sciences at Texas A&M University is seeking to fill one position at the rank of Professor with Tenure or Associate Professor with Tenure in the field of Applied Microeconomics.  This tenure-review-upon-hire position is a 9-month full-time academic appointments with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2025.  

In addition to publishing in leading journals, the successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and supervise graduate students as well as participate in the applied microeconomics workshop, serve on an appropriate department committee, and be involved as a member of Ph.D. dissertation committees. 

Qualifications

This position requires a Ph.D. in economics or a related field.  Experience advising graduate students is required as well as a background in instruction at the graduate and undergraduate level.  All appointees are expected to be committed to teaching and research of the highest quality.
