What we’re looking for...
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Junior Software Asset Management to join our growing SAM team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day administration, tracking, and optimization of our software estate.
What you’ll be doing...
You will gain hands-on experience working with industry-leading tooling (Flexera), assist with data preparation for large publisher contract renewals, and help compile evidence for audit defense. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring SAM professional to develop their career, working closely with Procurement and various business entities to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Flexera Data Maintenance: Support the administration of Flexera. Assist in importing licensing entitlements, updating software inventories, and ensuring data integrity within the asset management platform.
Procurement Support: Assist Senior SAM and Global Procurement teams in preparing for contract renewals with large publishers (e.g., Microsoft, Adobe, Salesforce). Help gather usage statistics and deployment data to identify underutilized licenses.
Audit Defense Assistance: Support the audit mitigation process by collecting required deployment data, organizing proof-of-purchase records, and maintaining audit documentation folders.
Business Unit Engagement: Actively follow up with various business entities and technical teams to ensure they execute assigned optimization tasks (e.g., reclaiming unused software, uninstalling unauthorized applications, and reallocating licenses).
Reporting & Analysis: Generate routine software compliance and optimization reports. Help identify variances between software installations and purchased entitlements to highlight potential financial risks or savings.
