Business Operations Lead – US Nonprofit Organizations Vertical, AWS WWPS

About the role
You will be responsible for Sales Operations and Business financial analysis within the Worldwide Public Sector Sales Operations organization. This is a pivotal role that enables you to have significant business impact through your direct involvement in customer financial modeling, reporting, forecasting, data quality, annual planning, territory and quota design, target setting, and operations support.
You will lead business operations for the US Nonprofits vertical within AWS Worldwide Public Sector. This business unit serves a wide range of nonprofit customers who are migrating and transforming their digital operations. You will be establishing dashboards, operational metrics, and reports to support the rapid growth of the AWS public sector business. You will be responsible for creating and validating accurate forecasts for growth and sales.
You will work in collaboration and coordination with Business Operations Leaders, Sales Directors, account and service teams, corporate finance, strategy, revenue operations, and other supporting teams and stakeholders. You will work with legal and compliance teams to ensure full compliance of government and Amazon policies, as well as evaluation and recommendation of new ways of conducting business that can help accelerate growth.
You should have the ability to think strategically, act effectively, and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. You should be able to build strong cross-group working relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
- Manage all aspects of Worldwide Public Sector financial reporting and analysis for a Business vertical ensuring timeliness, completeness and accuracy of reporting
- Develop metrics and reports to manage sales pipeline, billed revenue and quota attainment
- Develop performance dashboards that encompass key metrics to be reviewed with senior Sales Directors and WWPS leadership team in order to drive and manage the business
- Coordinate with corporate teams to influence roadmap for enhanced business intelligence and CRM tools to support the business.
- Work with territory planning, segmentation & quota development
- Assist in the creation and management of sales compensation plans, headcount tracking, and management
- Help WWPS Operations balance short term tactical goals with long term strategies

Basic Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in the areas of finance, business management and/or sales operations in mid-to-large scale global Sales Organization
- 5+ years of experience with the development and implementation of systems, processes and tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, and forecasting
- 5+ years of experience using BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, QuickSight), CRM software, and excel
- 5+ years of experience with data analysis in excel
- 5+ years of experience of direct executive support and operational experience coordinating requirements from other teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company would be beneficial
- Nonprofit experience

- MBA with concentration in Business or Finance
