Job Description

Primary Function of Position

The Director drives research and analytics for Intuitive's talent strategies. They report to the VP and oversee people analytics and support People Growth and Engagement. Working with HR partners, they enhance organizational health, engagement, and key metrics. The team member manages experts and collaborates to improve organizational effectiveness.

Essential Job Duties

  • Develop a long-term research strategy that supports immediate business needs and expands as new insights are uncovered.
  • Manage a specialized team responsible for administering surveys, conducting research on organizational health, and examining trends.
  • Distill complex data insights into compelling and simple stories for a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Partner and support I&D strategic planning and councils by providing effective employee data, research, scrutiny, and insights.
  • Talk to HR and stakeholders to gather employee experience needs, goals, and feedback for designing effective listening strategies.
  • Define research related business requirements to ensure HR technology and data architecture is designed with research use cases in mind.
  • Participate in analytics community, represent organization, stay updated on trends and best practices.
  • Work with VP and COE to improve operational processes for better program results.
  • Help track and report on COE impact, outcomes and ROI on a regular basis.
  • Support the VP of People Growth & Engagement by managing ad hoc projects and requests.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experienced analytics manager with 10-15 years in HR and analytics, including leading specialized COE teams.
  • Minimum of at least 8 years of people leadership experience.
  • Recognized SME and thought pioneer in workforce \/ people analytics.
  • Exceptional analytic skills with ability to **examine** data across multiple functions or organizations for greater talent insights.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with employee related survey methodologies and managing employee engagement surveys.
  • Ability to work in a global, complex cross-functional team environment.
  • Proven project and change management skills.
  • Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills with particular focus on HR managers, business executives, and support functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of talent related research and data-driven insights.
  • Experience using a flexible data-backed approach with varying levels of precision.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across multiple stakeholders and levels.
  • Exceptional consultative and project intake skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively drive results in a complex and changing environment.

Proficiency in MS Office suite of tools, used in creating and editing presentation decks, training materials, and metrics/reporting.

Required Education and Training

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree plus requisite years of experience.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to successfully perform job responsibilities on a computer for most of the workday.
