JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The lab of Kateryna Makova is seeking an Administrative Support Assistant 3 to support the fast-paced lab doing research of Molecular Evolution and Genomics.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Collect and ensure accuracy of documents being submitted for processing to financial department.
Maintain lab website, lab computer warranties, and appropriate email lists.
Update faculty activity reports, curriculum vitae, and promotion and tenure dossiers.
Maintain calendars and schedule appointments, coordinate virtual and in-person meetings with lab collaborators.
Arrange meetings, organize meeting material, and develop agendas for events and speakers.
The successful candidate should be a self-starter, detailed oriented, and organized.
Education and Experience
Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus at least two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior knowledge of biology is a plus.

This is a 75% full-time equivalency (FTE) appointment working 30 hours per week. Full Penn State benefits included.
This is a limited-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire, with possibility of re-funding.
