As a Defense Mission Professional at Booz Allen, you will support the Joint Staff by leading doctrine analysis, coordinating and conducting comprehensive reviews, overseeing program‑level workflows, supporting terminology, and steering working groups that sustain chairman’s programs across doctrine, education, and training. Your expertise will help ensure timely, accurate, and policy‑aligned doctrinal products while contributing to modernization initiatives, emerging concepts, and interoperability across the Joint Force.

You Have:
- 2+ years of experience as a doctrine analyst, including with joint doctrine development, review, and analysis
- Experience conducting complex long-range studies and developing rigorous technical analyses and recommendations
- Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify gaps, redundancies, and areas for improvement across doctrine or materials
- Knowledge of project management principles
- Ability to translate complex information for various audiences
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience with military operations and staff, Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience with military operations and staff, or 10+ years of experience with military operations and staff in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience leading or participating in major studies of comprehensive and highly complex issues
- Experience supporting working groups, conferences, staffing cycles, or collaborative coordination processes
- Experience producing special studies, emerging doctrine analyses, or allied doctrine research reports
- Experience advising senior military or civilian leaders on complex doctrine, education, or readiness issues
- Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder staffing efforts and overseeing doctrinal workflows
- Knowledge of Joint Electronic Library (JEL) and Joint Doctrine Development Tool (JDDT) systems and terminology processes
- Possession of excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Clearance:
