Assistant Controller

As the Assistant Controller, you will assist with:

• Timely and accurate month-end close
• Federal, state, and local tax and regulatory compliance
• Ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately, in a timely manner, and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• The review of account reconciliations for reasonableness and appropriateness
• Implementing and managing a solid framework of internal accounting controls
• Preparation of financial statements
• Treasury and cash management
• Ad-hoc financial analyses and metric reporting to support strategic decision-making
• Identify and execute measures to increase departmental efficiencies and process improvements
• Provide leading support for audits and year-end close
• Daily journal entries as needed
• All other duties as assigned 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• CPA, preferred
• Public accounting experience, preferred
• Strong technical background
