Key service line leader for Orthopedic Surgery and Neurosciences.Collaborating with clinical leadership and Network leaders to grow and develop high quality clinical services including service line development and tracking of quality initiatives and metrics to enhance our value based proposition at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital and Jefferson Medical Group Einstein. Lead the growth of the orthopedic and neuroscience health service line through the development of new business opportunities and innovative services for the hospital and practice plan. Administrator is accountable for financial performance, growth and business development and building relationships and trust for the team.
Job Description
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
- Develop new business opportunities and plan new programs for hospital and practice plan.
- Plan and supervise practice operations; monitor and explain revenue and expense budgets for hospital and medical group account units.
- Foster and develop key relationships and partnerships across Jefferson Health.
- Direct the activities and monitor performance of directors/managers who directly supervise clinical programs and business/administrative operations
- Works closely with the Chairs and administration on physician contracts and key performance metrics. Creating productivity and quality metrics tracking.
- Acquire/maintain regulatory requirements (DOH/TJC); programmatic distinctions/COE and program accreditations.
- Works collaboratively with Payor Relations Department on issues affecting neurosciences and prepares department for changes
- Track and manage special purpose and research accounts and all contracted services Neurosciences and Orthopedics
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree required. Master Degree in Business or Healthcare Administrator preferred
Minimum 5 years adminsitrative experience in health care management.
