The Opportunity 

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our team on their designated shift (days). If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for motivating and guiding teams to success, we want to hear from you!

This permanent, full-time position will report to the Assistant Production Manager and is fully onsite. Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:   

 

• Lead and supervise shift operations to meet production requirements.
• Ensure the quality and productivity of the shift.
• Follow and enforce production schedules, company policies, SOPs, FDA regulations, and cGMPs.
• Oversee the successful startup of first batches and ensure smooth shift changes.
• Audit equipment cleaning, use log books, and completed batch records.
• Recommend changes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Complete work orders, accident forms, and perform accident investigations.
• Share productivity improvement ideas with management.
• Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating employees.
• Delegate work assignments and maintain accurate attendance records.
• Foster professional and productive communication with all shifts and departments.

  

 The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities you will bring to the team

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Operations Management, Engineering, etc.).
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a successful supervisor in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Skills:
  • General knowledge of the food manufacturing process.
  • Basic math skills, including percent yields.
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
