Service Desk Consultant (Level 2)

We have a specific requirement for a Service Desk Consultant.</p><p>This is a Service Desk Level 2 role with the successful candidate joining the expanding Service Desk team working on-site with one of Version 1’s top managed service customers.</p><p>This candidate will also have a number of daily &amp; weekly tasks such as health checks, security controls, backup management &amp; service reporting.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>You should be a strong generalist with experience in a service desk or similar IT role. This candidate will be given an opportunity to develop their skills within the Service Desk and work with a wide range of technologies.</p><p>Experience with any of the following areas is an advantage:</p><ul><li>VMWare/HyperV</li><li>Windows Server</li><li>Linux</li><li>Active Directory</li><li>Databases</li><li>Networks</li><li>Security</li><li>Commvault/Arcserve backup software</li></ul><p>… and you’ll be able to provide evidence and examples of where you have demonstrated these skills in the past.
