Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is looking for a Senior Computer Scientist. In this role you will help design, develop, deliver, and manage solutions to our customer’s challenging computer science problems. Solutions may occur in the forms of forensics and attack attribution, protection of critical networks, active systems warnings and indicators, active penetration into target systems, knowledge discovery of passive and active systems, or other computer science mission support.
Job responsibilities:
Essential computer science skills should be applied to each problem using knowledge in:
- Operating systems
- Compiler theory
- Database theory
- Algorithm analysis
- Computer architecture
- Discrete math
- Programming language theory
- Data structures.
Here's What You Need:
- One of the following:
- Associates degree and 7 years of computer science experience
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of computer science experience
- Master's degree and 3 years of computer science experience
- Computer science (i.e. theoretical or applied) experience which includes but is not limited to: simulation/model development designing/developing/using/evaluating mathematic models, methods, and/or techniques (e.g. algorithm or development) algorithm analysis and design reverse engineering designing/developing computer and information systems, including engineering hardware and/or software.
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to start
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington state as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role
California: $117,000 - $214,300
Colorado: $117,00 - $185,200
New York: $108,500 - $214,300
Washington state: $124,700 - $197,300
