With FLYR, businesses are able to<strong> </strong>quickly unlock modern retailing capabilities, improve revenue performance and modernize the e-commerce experience.</p> <h2>Flight Itinerary (About The Role)</h2> <p>We’re looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to own our NDC portal/gateway solution end-to-end. You will define and execute the product vision for airline distribution at FLYR — shaping how airlines and travel sellers onboard, configure, test, and scale NDC across channels. You’ll work closely with customers, commercial teams, and engineers to design an intuitive portal experience, manage a clear backlog, and ensure compliance with IATA NDC while supporting traditional distribution.</p> <p>This is a hands-on product role that blends strategy, discovery, standards stewardship, and execution. You’ll partner with platform teams (Offer, Order, Product Catalog) and Developer Experience to deliver an API-first, self-serve workflow that accelerates integration and adoption.</p> <h2>What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)</h2> <p>Product Strategy &amp; Roadmap</p> <ul> <li>Define the NDC product strategy with senior leadership; align objectives to FLYR’s business goals and Developer Portal vision.</li> <li>Build and maintain an actionable roadmap and feature backlog for the NDC portal/gateway.</li> </ul> <p>Discovery &amp; Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Run discovery with implementation, commercial, sales, and partner teams to capture needs and pain points.</li> <li>Translate insights into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria; prioritize by customer impact and strategic value.</li> </ul> <p>Stakeholder Alignment &amp; Evangelism</p> <ul> <li>Champion the NDC distribution vision across FLYR; represent airline and seller needs in cross-functional forums.</li> <li>Partner with engineering, DX, and operations to deliver incremental value and a cohesive end-to-end experience.</li> </ul> <p>Delivery &amp; Launch</p> <ul> <li>Lead sprint planning and backlog refinement with engineering; drive high-quality releases.</li> <li>Validate outcomes via UAT and coordinate launch, adoption, enablement, and training activities.</li> </ul> <p>Industry &amp; Standards Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Stay current on IATA NDC schemas and implementation patterns; translate standards into pragmatic product choices.</li> <li>Ensure the portal supports all distribution channels and accelerates the shift to NDC for airline customers.</li> </ul> <p>Continuous Improvement &amp; Analytics</p> <ul> <li>Define product KPIs; analyze usage, reliability, and customer feedback to inform iteration.</li> <li>Perform gap analyses; author business requirements to enhance experience, performance, and compliance.</li> </ul> <p>Platform &amp; Integration Enablement</p> <ul> <li>Work with platform teams to ensure consistent data contracts, error handling, and observability across Shop/Buy/Pay/Change/Cancel flows.</li> <li>Collaborate with Developer Experience on documentation, sandbox/testing workflows, and diagnostics to streamline NDC partner onboarding.</li> </ul> <h2>What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)</h2> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>5+ years as a Technical Product Owner (or Product Manager) in airline distribution, travel tech, or adjacent enterprise platforms.</li> <li>Proven success defining strategy and managing roadmaps for complex B2B, API-driven products.</li> </ul> <p>Technical Expertise</p> <ul> <li>Deep understanding of IATA NDC concepts (schemas, flows, versioning) and airline merchandising/distribution models (GDS, OTA, TMC).</li> <li>Familiarity with API platforms and integration patterns; fluent in discussing payloads, contracts, and system interoperability.</li> </ul> <p>Collaboration &amp; Influence</p> <ul> <li>Track record leading cross-functional initiatives with engineering, implementation, and external partners.</li> <li>Excellent communication and storytelling skills; able to frame trade-offs and champion a product vision across a fast-growing org.</li> </ul> <p>Ways of Working</p> <ul> <li>Comfortable with agile methods and data-driven iteration; disciplined about measurement, quality, and continuous improvement.</li> </ul> <h2>First-Class Amenities</h2> <ul> <li>Regular employment contract</li> <li>Equity in Series D startup with high growth potential</li> <li>Flexible working hours</li> <li>Complimentary Breakfast/Lunch (in-office)</li> <li>Sports card</li> <li>Medical care</li> <li>Life Insurance</li> <li>Top-quality tech equipment</li> <li>Annual educational fund</li> <li>Englis
