As a Reporting Analyst within PNC's Tempus Technologies organization, you will be based in Auburn, IN. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion. This could also be a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. As a Reporting Analyst, you will take full ownership of your reporting products—from initial concept through to final user acceptance testing. Your role involves deeply understanding stakeholder workflows and use cases to deliver solutions that not only meet stated requirements but also anticipate additional business needs. You’ll collaborate closely with the reporting team to develop and automate curated datasets, enhancing report delivery speed, performance, and consistency. Additionally, you’ll use Kibana to build automated alerts that monitor application behavior and flag anomalies requiring developer attention.
Essential Functions:
• Maintain clear, proactive, and consistent communication with stakeholders and team members.
• Design dashboards and reports that drive actionable insights (e.g. a report highlighting Jira cards with missing data, or a dashboard that provides diagnostic details around a surge of application error logs)
• Apply advanced SQL skills to curate and manage data sets in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Analyze business data to identify trends and uncover opportunities for operational improvements.
Preferred Skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present information visually and craft compelling narratives through charts, graphs, and trendlines.
• High proficiency with MS SQL Server.
• Experience developing and publishing Tableau dashboards.
• Familiarity with creating dashboards in Kibana.
• Experience with MS Power BI strongly desired, but not required.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and process thinking.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
