COG Co-op Financial Reporting

An outstanding opportunity exists for a student seeking to gain marketable accounting skills and experience in the exciting area of International Finance. 

Job Duties: 

• Assist management in the quarterly/monthly preparation of divisional operating analytics, in accordance with GAAP policies. 
• Support analysis of general ledger account Balance Sheet balances, including cash, investments, Other Intangibles, Other Assets/Liabilities and Intercompany accounts. 
• Assist in preparation of divisional Balance Sheet Reporting templates and analytics. 
• Prepare and record quarter/month-end journal vouchers, including foreign currency entries. 
• Assist in the creation, update and review of financial templates to be used in trend and variance analysis. 
• Provide accounting support in the analysis of Divisional Income Statement and Balance Sheets Reconciliation between ancillary accounting 
  systems. 
• Participate in special projects, as required. 

• Accounting or Finance major preferred 
• Proficiency in Excel 
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills 
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills 
• Strong verbal and communication skills
