Job Duties:

· Produce scalable software solutions working alongside a team of experienced developer leaders. Be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

· Leverage strong knowledge and experience in Java, HTML, Webservices and others to perform hands-on technical implementations, deliver highly functional solutions developed on the PayFlex platform.

· Leverage specific knowledge of PayFlex and overall Flexible spending accounts to ensure the solution incorporates the proper levels of data processing and integration workflow.

· Support the current team in building a cohesive, streamlined and quality solution by taking a leading role in the design, implementation, deployment, and documentation of critical workflows.

· Design, develop, and support software solutions using Java, web services, and JavaScript.

· Work closely with business and service delivery teams to ensure appropriate business measures are defined and creating technical design recommendations for developing.

· Analyze, design, develop, test, and debug computer software in accordance with established project standards.

· Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to the Java development teams.

· Other duties as assigned.

 

HYBRID position- requires in-person work in the Oak Brook, Illinois office, and will also allow 80% remote work from an Illinois address.

 

Requirements:

The position of Sr. Software Engineer requires a Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, Business, Finance, Electronic Engineering or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Rate of Pay: $153,317.00/year
