Job Description
We are looking for someone who’s committed to learning the ins and outs of this new client to Leo Burnett, passionate about growing a leading, everyday premium brand in the dairy category with high creative ambitions! Someone prepared to roll up their sleeves, establish trusted relationships with the clients and build a strong foundation of team culture while reaping the rewards of working in a connected team.
Role Responsibilities and Highlights
- Creatively draws on the full resources at their disposal to add new dimension and depth to the client relationship.
- Expert knowledge of the client’s business including industry trends and competitors.
- A foot in culture, knowing the trends and innovations that may impact both our clients business and how consumers engage with them.
- Works with the attitude of an agency without borders, both internally and with clients fosters a true partnership approach.
- Strong background in integrated outputs, digital, film, experiences.
Reporting Structure
- Reports to: VP Account Director
- Direct report: Account Executive with the possibility of additional support
Scope of Work
- Launching a new platform campaign, team integration, always on work, plus seasonal campaigns.
Expectations for Interviews
- Minimum of 2 rounds of interviews (1:1, 45 min each via Microsoft Teams) with representatives of the cross-functional team.
- Happy to make any necessary accommodations for the candidates.
Qualifications
Hard skills (brand, retail, digital, production, research, etc.):
- 8+ years of brand marketing/advertising experience, with at least 4 years on the agency side and a strong background in building/launching fully integrated platforms, digital, video and production delivery.
- 2+ years of experience with digital marketing and/or social marketing creative projects/ campaigns.
- CPG experience preferred, plus integration with shopper and media.
- Candidates should have solid advertising and brand marketing leadership experience on exemplary brands. Including, knowledge, ideas, and energy required to create world-class work.
Soft skills (client/team culture, communication style, flexibility, etc.):
- Foodie!
- Success onboarding a new client and establishing a safe, positive and productive team culture.
- Passion for continuously generating, pursuing and facilitating the production of innovative ideas, improving the clients and agency's strategic and competitive advantage.
- Highly functional in collaborative cross-functional teams with innate ability to lead through influence. Teamwork and collaboration are key to success in this position.
- Intuitive understanding of how to marshal resources and lay groundwork to develop + sell superlative creative product.
- Desire to build a collaborative idea-led culture and mentor a high-functioning team for the benefit of the account + growth trajectory of each, individual, direct report.
