Business Data Analyst *Remote*

Providence is calling a Business Data Analyst who will:

• Compile information from external data sources and correlate it with data available from within Providence St Joseph Health
• Work extensively and efficiently with large relational databases, external data extracts and competitor intelligence data
• Research identified issues, both internally and externally, using business intelligence and visualization tools
• Possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality
• Be intellectually curious

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Management or another related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and work experience
• 3+ years of experience working with relational databases and reporting/business intelligence tools
• 3+ years of experience gathering, analyzing and reporting data for a wide range of internal customers in various organizational areas
• 3+ years of experience working with complex data structures; including independent mining and data exploration and utilizing business intelligence and data visualization software (E.G. Tableau, SAP, Business Objects/Crystal Reports, Oracle)

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• 1+ years of Health care system or health insurance industry experience
• 1+ years of Experience with Tableau and data management/ETL software
