Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue that mission.Entegris is looking for an experienced Senior Trade Compliance Specialist with specific responsibility for import and export classifications for our product and technology portfolio and to support our compliance project initiatives. The Senior Trade Compliance Specialist will support the Entegris Trade Compliance Program by adhering to the US Government export control laws and regulations, coordinating export compliance activities, driving compliance projects to successful completion as well as performing audits, training and record keeping activities.
The successful candidate may be required to interface with both internal and external customers, freight forwarders, government agencies and other functional areas to ensure compliance. This role will be based in our Billerica MA office, reporting to the Director, Trade Compliance. This will be a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite, and 2 days working remotely.
In this role you will:
Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Chemists & Scientists to determine and maintain ECCN, HTS, and country of origin for materials in SAP, GTS and other corporate databases.
Manage, maintain and audit Trade Compliance Master data.
Drive process improvements to ensure accuracy in SAP, GTS and other corporate databases for ECCN, HTS and country of origin.
Develop, implement and maintain standard procedures to ensure future compliance.
Manage and maintain AgilePoint workflows
Conduct classification training with various internal departments on regulations, procedures and trade compliance requirements to ensure better compliance awareness.
Drive and support the implementation of trade projects to achieve efficiencies and automation.
Ensure export activities are executed in compliance within OFAC, EAR, ITAR, DEA, FDA and other export regulations.
Partner with ITAR empowered official to support compliance obligations.
Keep informed about regulatory updates, comprehend changes in the Federal Register, and implement the necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
Support other compliance activities as required.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
5+ years experience in international trade and compliance with a bachelor’s degree in trade, international business, supply chain or related field preferred
Demonstrated expertise in commodity classification and associated regulations
Experience/working knowledge of Semiconductor component classifications including chemistries.
Proficiency in EAR, ITAR, DEA, & FDA regulations. SAP and GTS competency.
Project Management experience – able to drive
