Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant Project Manager to oversee and manage interior, exterior signage and regulatory signage and rebranding for Deaconess Health System. In this role, you will serve as a valuable resource to the Director of Real Estate, Planning and Design, and the Director of Facilities and Construction. You will assist with the development of budgets, long-range plans, and ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee assigned projects requiring project management expertise.
- Financial Management: Review and assign project codes on POs and invoices, assist with capital budget estimates.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate with vendors and request quotes.
- Documentation: Prepare capital project summaries, including vendor and contractor quotes, estimates, and other costs.
- Signage and Wayfinding: Work with the project team on planning, specifying, and coordinating interior, exterior, and regulatory signage requirements for capital improvement and finish upgrade projects. Manage signage rebranding projects, update and maintain wayfinding signage and directories.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers, Hospital and Clinic Directors and Managers, Business Development, Marketing, Material Management, Engineering, and other Health System Departments.
- Additional Duties: Install new finishes, move furnishings, and manage minor renovations as needed.
Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:
- Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor of Science degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Demonstrated project management experience, preferably in a healthcare or facilities setting.
- Skills: Strong financial management, coordination, and communication skills. Proficiency in managing multiple projects and working with diverse teams.
