As a Senior Project Manager in our R&D Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading cross-functional teams to ensure our new product development projects are delivered on time, on budget, and meet the highest standards of quality. You will mentor junior project managers, contribute to process improvement, and have a direct impact on the advancement of ocean and climate science.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
- Leading the development and management of projects from concept to commercial launch, ensuring they stay on track.
- Organizing and facilitating technical design reviews, project toll gates, and status meetings.
- Coordinating daily development team scrum meetings to keep the team aligned and moving forward.
- Collaborating with teams across the organization to ensure project success and continuous improvement.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience with electromechanical systems.
- 5+ years of project management experience, or 3+ years with a Master’s degree, managing new product development processes.
- PMP certification is required, and familiarity with Agile methodologies, risk management tools like FMEA, and stage gate processes is a plus.
- Proven leadership and collaboration skills in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $120,000 - $135,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off,
