PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Shipping/Receiving/Material Handling Coordinator I prepares outgoing shipments and receives incoming shipments to/from customers and vendors with an high level of accuracy and quality. This position will also be responsible for a limited amount of Material Handling duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (specific duties may vary by location)
- Prepare outgoing shipments according to standard processes (which may include completing paperwork and creating labels) and coordinate with a variety of shipping companies.
- Perform appropriate quality check on parts being packed and order completeness.
- Receive incoming shipments from existing customers and/or vendors, label equipment with identifying information, and deliver equipment and paperwork to correct locations.
- Stocking of purchased material and transact/move/track internal Finished and Semi-Finished goods.
- Comply with all regulatory requirements, including export compliance and EHS standards.
- Recognizing and escalating problems - driving long term sustainable solutions.
- Maintain a safe, clean organized and efficient work area.
