Job Description
- Process damage work, cancelled orders and/or returns for proper return into inventory pick faces in a real time environment
- Work on partial receipt process
- Handle rework, and repack cartons
- Address over full locations and offer some root cause analysis and solution.
- Retrieve damaged product from all locations and process systematically for disposition.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and assist in development of process changes
- Any other duties to assist team leader or pickers as needed
This position also requires heavy lifting.
Associate should be capable of adhering to WPI’s (Work Place Instructions). They must perform to metrics such as safety, quality, production rates, absenteeism, etc. as well as follow 6S and BPS practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of various packaging methods, and rigging experience.
- Must be able to Read and write English.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must have the ability to learn and perform computer input and processing functions.
