The Role

The Senior SAC Solution Architect is responsible for designing and delivering advanced analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, data teams, and IT to architect scalable, secure, and high-performing SAC solutions that support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Work Location

This is a remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.

The Main Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of SAC solutions, including dashboards, stories, planning models, and data connections.
• Define SAC best practices and standards for modeling, visualization, and performance optimization.
• Work closely with business units to understand analytics requirements and translate them into SAC solutions.
• Provide thought leadership and guidance on SAC capabilities and roadmap alignment.
• Oversee SAC implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Configure SAC components including data models, calculations, and visualizations.
• Design and manage data integration between SAC and SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and other data sources.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security across SAC environments.
• Monitor SAC performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing SAC solutions.
• Mentor junior SAC developers and analysts.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for business users.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Finance/Accounting
• 8+ years of experience in SAP BI/Analytics, with at least 3 years in SAC architecture and development.

Technical Skills:

• Deep expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (BI and Planning).
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA, BW/4HANA, and S/4HANA integration.
• Proficiency in SAC scripting (e.g., data actions, advanced formulas).
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Certifications (Preferred):

• SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Analytics Cloud.
• SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA or BW/4HANA

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

$149,084 - $198,779 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$156,539 - $208,718 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$163,993 - $218,657 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
