You are a customer service enthusiast looking for a internship in the restaurant industry?

We have summer internship opportunities located at the Alt Hotel in Ottawa for a period varying 3 to 6 months and more starting this may 2025.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Take care of guests from arrival to departure from the restaurant or bar by actively listening, sharing sound advice and proactively responding to their requests.
• Accompany guests on their journeys: show them the way, lead them to their table, etc.
• Help to organize the seating plan to maximize occupancy.
• Answer the phone with a smile in your voice.
• Help to manage reservations and waiting list.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Currently a student in a catering program or similar
• Good physical condition: standing for long periods of time
• A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with all restaurant staff
