Our manufactured components are used primarily in Integrated Drive Generators (IDG) and Ram Air Turbines (RAT). RAT’s are used for aircraft emergency power generation; our RAT’s have been used to save aircrafts and over 2,600 lives.
What You Will Do
- Reduce OSHA Incident Rate and attain compliance through weekly safety audits, monthly safety meetings, required safety training, implementation of 5S practices, root cause correction, and enforcement of all regulatory and management policies and procedures.
- Improve product quality through assurance of operator capability and compliance to specifications. She/he must manage time constraints, availability of technical resources and various operator skill levels.
- Oversees production operations (shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management), scheduling and personnel.
- Manages and supervises the work of manufacturing production disciplines in the Operations function.
- Performs professional or management work regularly across multiple Manufacturing disciplines.
- Assists in cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
- Assists in scheduling for one cell so that production schedules are met.
- Assists in sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for a cell to optimize productivity.
- Coordinates activities for materials and logistics problem resolution of a cell to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
- Monitors cell performance and productivity of a cell to maximize productivity.
- Assists in production innovation, including additive manufacturing, of a cell to enhance the cell's production capabilities.
- The position supports work that covers a variety of shifts in a 24-hour/seven-day schedule, as such, there may be a need to support work on occasional nights and / or weekends.

Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer
- Prior supervisory experience.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Experience leading continuous improvement programs (ie: Blackbelt, lean principals)
- Experience with project management.
- Experience with inventory or planning positions (ie: SIOP)
