Accountant
Granger Medical Clinic has an immediate opening for a full-time Accountant in our Finance department at our Taylorsville location.
Our ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of accounting experience prior to the position, being able to keep and maintain an organized inventory and lease records. The candidate for this position needs to be highly proficient in Excel.
Job Type: Full-time 40 hours weekly.
Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of accounting and ability to research/assess compliance with GAAP

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a demanding environment
Essential Functions and Duties:
-
Daily and monthly inventory reconciliation and working with the Procurement team on inventory related accounting

Entering invoices, journal entries, and reconciliation of real estate investment entities

Prepare and facilitate all aspects of building lease accounting for both tenant leases and landlord leases, ensuring full compliance with ASC 842 accounting standards

Monthly three-day supply and inventory allocation process for job costing

Monthly allocations include shared expenses and malpractice insurance prepaids

Analyzes and monitors budgets and expenditures for compliance with fiscal accountability and reporting requirements

Will help coordinate and prepare the provider's quarterly compensation model

Collaborates with management in presenting financial statements to providers

Compile, report, and analyze financial information

Assist with various tracking, reporting and other projects as needed

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all processes
Education and Experience:
-
Accounting, Finance, Business or Healthcare Administration or equivalent experience preferred

Experience with Sage 100 accounting software

Experience with QuickBooks accounting software

Associate's degree in finance or accounting preferred
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Sedentary work, requiring lifting up-to-10lbs

Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment
