POSITION TITLE:                          Talent Acquisition Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:

Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department and maintain all policies and procedures as they relate to Human Resources.

 

JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values   
• Greet the public in person or on the phone
• Answer, screen & route telephone calls and use appropriate telephone etiquette
• Provide general information about employment opportunities to the public, and provides directional information to employees
• Interact with department customers in a polite and professional manner
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees in the organization
• Ability to prioritize tasks and complete high volume of assigned work accurately
• Ensure both quality and productivity meet department and federal standards
• Prepare, complete and track employee drug tests
• Sort drug test billing by outlets
• Complete offer letters, new hire welcome letters gaming license, rebadge letters, expiration date letters, random drug test letters and name change letters
• Complete employee verifications (phone, fax and personal), IT request forms, supervisor change forms
• Assist with running department reports as needed
• Complete MSS forms for all employee transactions, ensure all backup correspondence is attached, check for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare, administer, review for completeness, and track all online onboarding paperwork
• Review documents & complete employer section of I-9 form
• Prepare new hire spreadsheet, new hire packets including drug test forms, separations for NCNS new hires
• Prepare transfer & promotions spreadsheet and manage data
• Track resumes
• Assist in notarization of documents
• Administer pre-employment assessment tests and track results
• Prepare, troubleshoot and activate proximity badges; maintain access control profiles in the proximity card database and conduct audits on job group access
• Compile information for monthly tribal reports
• Retrieve employee information from WebDocs /JDEdwards, and Oracle Cloud as needed
• Represent Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in recruiting efforts
• Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved in projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions 
• Proactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employees
• Support HR team with additional duties and projects as needed
• Assist Recruiters as needed, assume full recruiter role when needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
• Maintain confidentiality of all applicant information and Harrah’s employee information
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate degree preferred
• Two years’ experience in human resources or directly related experience required
• Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills
• Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
