This individual will lead complex commercial negotiations, provide strategic legal guidance on product initiatives, and manage key elements of our IP program. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, global SaaS environment and brings both law firm and in-house experience.   ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Lead and negotiate complex commercial agreements (MSAs, DPAs, partner agreements, etc.) with enterprise customers and strategic partners, including Fortune 100 and regulated institutions
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams on product development, go-to-market initiatives, and emerging tech risk
  • Assist in driving IP strategy, including open source license compliance, trademark and patent support, and rights management
  • Support and scale cross-functional legal enablement tools and processes
  • Provide mentorship and guidance across the Legal team
ABOUT YOU 
  • 4–7 years of legal experience, with a mix of top-tier law firm and in-house legal work
  • Extensive experience negotiating enterprise SaaS transactions
  • Strong background in product counseling, IP, and open source software management
  • Proven ability to support global teams and navigate international regulatory frameworks
  • JD and bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Work Location
  • The ideal location for this role is to work onsite 3 days a week in our San Francisco. As a secondary option, we will consider candidates who are remote from a major city within the US.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $190,000 - $220,000 annually. Salary is determined by a combination of factors including location, level, relevant experience, and skills. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.  The compensation package for this position may also include equity, and benefits.
