Summary

The Manager, Key Accounts will be responsible for managing a team handling operations while maintaining and developing relationships with key clients to maximize revenue and profits for DSV. They will work closely with internal teams to ensure clients receive the highest level of service and support.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the importation of goods by air, including carrier selection, booking, and movement of goods through various transportation channels.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Key customers, vendors, and other third-party service providers to ensure efficient and effective delivery of cargo.
  • Collaborate with other internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as cargo delivery times, costs, and quality.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of service delivery.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs, improve service quality, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competition.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on account status and progress.

 

Educational background / Work experience

  • A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in freight forwarding and account management, or a related field is required.
  • Experience working with large, complex clients.
