Student Ambassador PRN Temp

Job Summary:

Assists with open house programs, healthcare career fairs and other general public outreach initiatives.

Essential Functions:

• Communicates with prospective students via telephone, email and written communication to provide advice and mentoring regarding the college enrollment process.
• Assists with planning, promoting, and hosting special events such as open house and career fairs, and will follow up with participants.
• Participates in community outreach activities, including visiting area schools, to raise awareness of career opportunities in the health sciences.

Education, Experience and Certifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required. 
• Must be a currently enrolled Cabarrus College of Health Sciences student in good standing.

Physical Requirements:

• Work requires pulling, pushing and lifting up to 50 pounds. 
• Work requires extended periods of standing, walking, sitting, bending and stretching. 
• Work requires visual and auditory acuity within normal limits or corrected.
