Provide administrative and clerical support to the faculty, students, and staff. This role includes day-to-day operational responsibilities that are financial in nature including updating databases/ systems, accounting and assisting in financial management.Job Description
Provide administrative support for the Scientific Director of the Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute and additional Principal Investigators and their lab personnel.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain Director's calendar
- Assist with the management of scheduling travel arrangements and reimbursement of expenses
- Manage seminar series
- Assist with special projects and special events
- Draft correspondence
- Handle incoming telephone calls and messages
- Assist in preparation of grant proposals
- Maintain files, reproduce and distribute as directed
- Supply management including business, copier and lab supply orders
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Position is contingent on continued funding
Qualifications
- High School Grad/GE Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Must be able to type a minimum of 45 words per minute
