Pay:  $69,534.40 annually.  

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, evenings and weekend work may occur

As an Enterprise Developer for Health Interoperability at Sedgwick County, your focus will be on adapting technology systems and tools to help the Sedgwick County Health Department (SCHD) be more effective in preventing disease, promoting wellness, and protecting the public from health threats by creating and enhancing software APIs and applications.

 

We run on a Microsoft .NET stack. A successful Enterprise Developer for Health Interoperability will bring an aptitude for thoughtful, maintainable architecture and coding in C# and T-SQL. Because most of our applications are ASP.NET web apps, it also greatly helps to be conversant in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You will work with a broad range of technologies such as: ASP.NET MVC and Web API, Entity Framework, JavaScript frameworks like jQuery, PowerShell, SSRS reports, WCF, and more.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Three years' experience in development and systems analysis, application design, computer programming, or directly related area. Must be Conversant in C# and SQL scripting.

 

Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in development and systems analysis, application design, or computer programming in a hospital, clinic, or public health setting. Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
