As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of our production team. Under the direction of the Production Manager, you will ensure the efficient execution of the production schedule, maintain high standards of food safety, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of food production while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure GMPs & food safety programs are instituted and followed
- Ensure all safety policies are adhered to Ø Work in collaboration with HSE Team to ensure a safe working environment
- Strong team leader, skilled in motivating, coaching & influencing others
- Efficiently execute the production schedule
- Develop and maintain efficient SOPs in collaboration with the site engineers
- Develop and maintain qualified personnel within the plant production department
- Communicate and enforce regulatory & Kerry policies within the plant
- Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Manage the labor cost while meeting plant KPIs
- Positive working environment driving an engaged culture
- Responsible for manufacturing product to specification
- Responsible for minimizing losses
- Management through KPIs
- SAP Department Data Control
- Maintain high level of departmental cleanliness
- 80% Floor & 20% Office/Strategic Work
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in related field of study preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in leading a manufacturing team.
- Analytical skills.
- Continuous improvement understanding.
- Thorough understanding of unit of operations.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodology.
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
