Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst

We are looking for very motivated and detail-oriented individuals Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join the DJF financial reporting team. This role is responsible for the preparation of the monthly consolidated financials, reporting packages, US GAAP financial statements, handling of intercompany reconciliations, leader of ASC842 lease accounting, chairman reports, reporting system administration/maintenance, and supporting the monthly and year-end close activities to ensure timely reporting. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements, including managing eliminations
• Assist in preparation of parent company report package
• Preparation of annual US GAAP standalone financial statements
• Reporting system Longview administrator, maintaining the reporting tool, key reports generated from system, version and period management. Assist with the setup and maintenance of system generate reports
• Assist with month end and year-end close process/activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting, maintenance of the close calendar
• Prepare monthly chairman's report, capital spending summaries, and other executive level summaries
• Leader of ASC842 lease accounting, initial lease assessments and recording, reconciliation review, and rent analysis
• Participate in the financial audit procedures, preparing related schedules and fielding requests
• Performing variance analysis actuals to forecast budget
• Assist in technical accounting research and documentation for new pronouncements and transactions; prepare memos for internal/external use
• Assist in the review and maintenance of financial reporting controls 

NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILTIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

• Independent thinker
• Previous experience working with senior management, comfortable giving presentations
• High visibility

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Accounting or Finance Degree
• CPA required
• Minimum of four to five years experience in financial analysis or reporting
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft office applications
• Prior experience with a large ERP (SAP preferred) and Consolidation systems
• Previous experience working in a large accounting firm. 

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to take on projects without the need for close supervision or direction
• Experience with excel add-ins,
• Experience with Longview system
