JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant
SHIFT: 80 Hours Bi-Weekly, Day Shift
BENEFTS: This is a full time, benefit eligible position.
Summary/Objective
Provides administrative support for Chief Operating Officer, Chief Information Officer and other members of Administration as assigned.
Essential Functions

- Follow Cameron Memorial Community Hospital’s fire, tornado, bomb, and disaster procedures.
- Exemplify good customer service and promote inter/intra departmental communication.
- Demonstrate proficient use of email and other office software.
- Maintain and manage schedules for COO, CIO and other members of Administration as assigned.
- Finalize payroll and approve time off requests for the COO, CIO and other members of Administration as assigned.
- Organize/maintain departmental account records.
- Prepare and distribute meeting invites, agendas and packets that include supporting documentation.
- Attend designated meetings and assist with room set up, meal arrangements and meeting minutes.
- Facilitate conference enrollment and travel.
- Process expense reports.
- Coordinate various projects as assigned.
- Schedule hospital conference rooms.
- Facilitate cards and gifts as needed on behalf of Administration.
- Upkeep of Admin’s kitchenette and conference room.
- Coordinate purchasing of supplies.
- Assist with internal and external mailings.
- Participate in workgroups for event planning for departments and hospital when time permits.
- Assist other leaders with various clerical duties when time permits.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of one-year of Administrative Assistant supporting C-Suite, preferred.
Skills/Competencies
- Proficient use of computer and office equipment.
- Microsoft Office Suite product knowledge.
- Confidentiality: Handling sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in documentation and data entry.

Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Associate's degree in office administration preferred.
