About the role

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Part-Qualified Accountant to join Europe's Largest Airline Group.

Reporting to the HR Director, this brand new role will be based in our Global HQ in Dublin. The successful candidate will be working on a number of projects related to the People Dept including annual remuneration, Comp & Benefits function and ongoing market analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for a part or newly qualified accountant looking for a new challenge.

With over 20,000 people working in Ryanair, your role will be varied, and you will work on all areas of the business including the Head Office, Flight Crew, Cabin Crew, Operations, Engineering and IT. We are in a period of massive growth with a further 300 new aircraft on order and plans to increase to over 300m passengers per year within the next 10 years.

Responsibilities

  • Market Benchmarking, reviewing industry compensation & trends
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of existing compensation policies and procedures and recommending plan revisions to ensure Ryanair remains an employer of choice
  • Responsible for the implementation and administration of employee benefit programmes
  • Participate in the annual review process across the business
  • Updating salary matrixes across the business to ensure Ryanair are aligned with market rates
  • Supporting the development and communication of compensation policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Part or newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years relevant accounting experience is desirable.
  • Experience working in a large, complex, and matrixed organizations
  • Expert numerical and analytical skills with the ability to develop analytics from multiple streams of data, interpret, and communicate the data in a logical, concise way.
  • Strong Microsoft application skills – Excel, PowerPoint, and Word – experience or expertise with macros and VB is preferred
  • Analytical acumen – ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of data
  • Comfortable with technology and working with web-based technology and external vendor tools as required
  • Strong process and project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and ensure accurate delivery of products.
  • You have developed and implemented internal role levelling frameworks and have detailed knowledge of market benchmarking techniques.
