As a key member of the Corporate Operations team, the VIP Travel Advisor will be responsible for the successful completion of comprehensive, accurate, cost-effective travel arrangements for Direct Travel clients within company policies utilizing corporate contracts and preferred suppliers in an efficient and professional manner.
This role will work closely with the Team Leader and report to the Operations Manager.
This is a fully remote position and for a dedicated account.
Expedition Expectations
- Managing all aspects of client travel reservations.
- Developing creative solutions to serve client needs.
- Keeping up to date with industry developments.
- Fulfilling complex and unusual travel requests.
- Reviews all reservations for travel policy and procedure compliance
- Advising clients on lowest fare and routing option
- Ensures that all reservation files pass quality control prior to ticket issuance
- Follows all policy and procedures as outlined in the training manual
- Provides quality service to each corporate client
- Supports preferred vendor agreements
- Responsible for developing relationships with travel arrangers and travelers
- Call backs to clients; Updating profiles
- Researching client needs or special requests when required
- Supporting team members with client requests
Passport to Success
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international corporate travel, international fare construction, and airline routings.
- Ability to act with absolute discretion.
- Able to work business hours Monday to Friday, with a willingness to occasionally work other hours as needed.
Going the Extra Mile
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as corporate travel advisor
- Travel School Graduate preferred
- Experience with Domestic, Transborder and International reservations
- Ability to create domestic and international multi-segment, multi-destination itineraries
- Understands international airfares and international ticketing
- Hands on Car/ Hotel reservation knowledge
- Extensive experience on designated GDS – Travelport Apollo
- Excellent customer service ability
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
