We are looking for a Repair Technician who will be responsible for repair and testing of Advance Thermal Sciences (ATS) temperature control systems (TCS) at our Anaheim California facility.

ATS manufactures standard and custom engineered products to provide customers with the right solution and is a leading supplier of temperature control systems (TCS). Markets served include semiconductor/microelectronics, solar, laser, and more.

This role will be performed Onsite at our Collins Aerospace location in Anaheim, CA.

What YOU Will Do:

Assemble and Disassemble components and refrigeration units. Task include, working with mechanical tooling, Brazing, refrigerant recovery, refrigerant charging, testing, Vacuuming, Duties are not limited to these functions. Duties may require additional area of duties if work requires.

• Support the repair, troubleshooting and testing of semiconductor chiller systems to meet customer requirements

• Provide input to engineering for potential system design improvements.
• Support for upgrade or modification programs to chiller systems
• Performs a variety of duties, including but not limited to servicing, operating, maintaining and repairing equipment
• Troubleshoots technical problems and issues and recommends actions to company personnel
• You will be cross trained in other departments to be able to work in areas as business needs dictate

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Ability to lift 35lbs and ability to work using ladders
• Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical diagrams
• Proficient in the use of instrumentation equipment including pressure gauges, DMMs, amp meters etc.
• Ability and experience to braze copper tubing to stainless steel
• Strong technical communication skills
• Teamwork skills, ability to work and thrive in a high paced, high tech environment
• Have the ability to work weekends and holidays when required
• Willing to occasionally travel for short periods of time
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in machinery installation, repair and troubleshooting, HVAC experience, refrigerant technician
• Universal refrigeration/HVAC (EPA) license
• Electromechanical background including PLCs and Industrial Communication interfaces
• Semiconductor and/or HVAC experience
