We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of IT to lead our IT. This strategic leadership role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of technology, business strategy, IT best practices and, aligned with the unique challenges and opportunities of the non-profit industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management and successful delivery of our IT portfolio of work and technology & support excellence, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies & goals, optimizing resource allocation, and driving the successful delivery of technology projects, support excellence and modern IT best practices Additionally, the Vice President will continuously improve IT processes and services, collaborate with executives and other ACS Sr. Leaders to drive organizational innovation and technology strategy, understand the technology market and trends, and leverage those trends to drive ACS strategic outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, strong business acumen, and a track record of leading a team in delivering complex IT initiatives on time and within budget, successful experience in service excellence and technological stability all while demonstrating a people-first mindset, celebrating diversity, and fostering a culture of inclusion, innovation, collaboration & excellence within the organization.

This role is a remote and can be based anywhere in the US.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILIES


General Responsibilities

  • Guide and execute projects that can involve messaging and collaboration, telephony, networking, security operations, data center, and cloud environment
  • Perform environment risk assessments and mitigate risks.
  • Participates in the development of disaster recovery plans for critical systems and drive disaster recovery testing to ensure business continuity.
  • Works in designing an environment that is well documented, sustainable, and conforms to all established technology development and implementation processes, enabling the business to service our customers as effectively and efficiently as possible.
  • Use Continuous Improvement methodologies to identify and implement system improvements.
  • Cultivate strategic thinking and technical expertise in ACS to enable learning, adoption, and re-skilling in the use of scalable technologies and approaches.Ā  Establish practices, processes, and platforms, working horizontally across the enterprise to govern and operationalize new technologies to enable broad use across ACS.
  • Collaborate with product management and executive leadership to define product roadmaps and priorities
  • Ability to create a strategic plan for Cloud Environments, Network, AI and Robotics

MS 0365, Power Platforms, AI and Robotics

  • Ability to build out an AI & Robotics Process Automation team and strategy that will move ACS Mission forward
  • In partnership with Support Center provides tier 3 SME support to critical issues impacting Enterprise Technology Systems in a timely and proactive manner to deliver defined service levels.
  • Oversee and manage operations of the messaging and collaboration environments, including licensing management, SharePoint intranet and extranet sites, email and email security, email signature platform, MS Teams, chat/instant messaging, conferencing platform, live video events, Power Apps, and Slack
  • Improve operations and process through documentation, continued improvement, and automation.


Network and Telephone

  • Understanding of Network and Telephony operations with ability to guide team towards improved monitoring and communication around Network uptime and outages.
  • Research, innovate and evaluate technological solutions to improve and build out the strategic technical plans that support all ACS Network, Phone and supporting applications.
  • Oversee and manage 99.5% uptime operations of the data and voice network, including: routing, switching, load-balancing, telecommunications, National Cancer Information Center call-center platform, and enterprise telephony
  • Oversee and manage Network Security Operations, including: Firewall Management, Intrusion Detection and Prevention.
