Technical Instructor

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Technical Instructor, you will help lead the design and implementation of consistent and effective training programs across Peloton’s Service & Repair network. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training to ensure Peloton team members and 3PL partners are fully proficient in their roles. This means developing and delivering training in a variety of formats and media, across an audience of Peloton employees as well as 3rd party repair partners in an adult learning environment. The Technical Instructor will work effectively in an environment of high change, and take ownership in driving continuous improvement.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

• Provide input based on learning delivery experience to help shape innovative learning and development strategies aimed at driving the highest impact and quality 
• Ensure proficiency via regular 3PL technician training, certification programs, ongoing development, new products, processes, and systems using multiple channels and tools to support an array of learning styles
• Working closely with Product, Engineering, Software and Member Support teams to identify and deliver improvement to Peloton’s repair training program and initiatives in the a practical learning environment
• Evaluate training effectiveness and calibrate across the network of 3PL repair providers to ensure consistent training and outcomes
• Provide feedback and best practices for repair technicians, hardware specialists, and other Peloton employees
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for system or product testing, instructional design feedback, and proposed process improvements

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

• 2+ years of successful training development experience, including using a Learning Management System (LMS) to assist in managing learning materials
• 2+ years of successful training deployment experience, including in-person and virtual training experiences
• 2+ years in operations experience working with or around repair technicians
• Expertise in preparing course materials, assembling resources, and providing recommendations for continuous improvement
• Expertise in G-Suite products (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.) and reporting tools
• Able to successfully analyze requirements, design learning objectives, and deliver courses in multiple formats (live and virtual audiences of varying sizes and language preferences).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects to meet deadlines
• Place importance on keeping their knowledge up-to-date for the latest tools and trends in the market
• This role requires travel in support of training programs and core work duties up to 50% of the time
• Moves and manipulates fitness equipment up to 455 lbs with assistance 
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, but not a requirement
