Eldora is the backyard winter mountain playground for Greater Denver, Boulder County, and Colorado's northern Front Range. Eldora is located just outside of the charming mountain town of Nederland, Colorado, about 20 miles west of Boulder and less than 50 miles from downtown Denver.

Eldora strives to deliver Colorado’s Front Range the most memorable outdoor adventures to locals and out-of-town visitors.   Eldora Mountain Resort employs up to 700 employees at peak season and has 680 acres of lift-accessible terrain for skiing and snowboarding, including a Woodward Mountain Park experience, and a world class Nordic Center.

Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $22, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Job Summary/Overview: Eldora Resort is seeking vibrant and enthusiastic Team Leaders to oversee our Grounds and Facilities Utility Workers. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks while fostering a fun, energetic, and environmentally conscious work environment. As a Team Leader, you’ll be the driving force behind maintaining our high standards of cleanliness, safety, and environmental stewardship. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support a team of Grounds and Facilities Utility Workers. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure team members are motivated and aligned with Eldora’s values and operational goals. 

  • Daily Operations Management: Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of common areas including tables, floors, restrooms, and outdoor spaces to ensure they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards. 

  • Environmental Stewardship: Manage the recycling, compost, and trash collection processes, promoting Eldora’s commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability. 

  • Safety and Efficiency: Ensure outdoor walkways, entrances, and decks are safe and clear of snow and ice. Utilize snow blowers or shovels as needed while adhering to safety protocols. 

  • Training and Development: Train new team members on proper procedures, safety standards, and Eldora’s operational practices. Foster a positive and productive work environment. 

  • Reporting and Feedback: Regularly report on team performance, operational challenges, and any issues to upper management. Provide feedback and suggest improvements for operational efficiency. 

Job Requirements: 

  • Experience: Prior experience in a leadership role within a similar environment is preferred. Experience in hospitality, resort operations, or facilities management is a plus. 

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to be on your feet for extended periods, climb stairs and ladders, and move about all areas of the resort efficiently. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. 

  • Weather Adaptability: Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including extreme cold and snowy environments. 

  • Availability: Must be able to work weekends and holidays as r
