Job Summary:

The City of Greeley is seeking a part-time, term limited Co-Pilot Intern to join the CoPilot Studio team as part of the High Performance Government Department.  We are seeking a motivated and talent intern that will be responsible for implementing and managing a web chatbot.  This role involves integrating the chatbot with Trumba and ArcGIS to enhance our digital services and provide a seamless user experience.  The position is term-limited for the duration of the Customer Experience Project and is funded for approximately 6 months unless additional funding is obtained at a later date. 

The Intern will work approximately 20-25 hours per week during normal working hours (8a-5p, Monday through Friday), not to exceed 29 hours per week. This is a paid position designed for a student currently enrolled in a four-year college/university program.

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic typing and computer skills required
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Record check, and a background check.

Level II:

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year college/university program in Information Technology, Business, Public Administration, or a closely related field, AND completion of two years of coursework.

Level III:

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year college/university program as a Senior or post-graduate program in Information Technology, Business, Public Administration, or a closely related field.

OR,

A combination of related education, experience, certifications, and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job may be considered by the hiring authority.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Trumba and GIS Integration a plus
  • Experience working with Oracle Cloud preferred, but not required.
     

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to develop and deploy a web chatbot to assist users with various inquiries and tasks.
  • Experience in the integration of chatbots using Trumba for even management and scheduling functionalities.
  • Computer skills, including the ability to utilize Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and learn and experiment with new software and systems.
  • Proofreading, grammar, punctuation, and formatting skills, including the ability maintain consistency and be cognizant of and address details.
  • Ability to navigate multiple on-line platforms. 
  • Ability to present oneself professionally in appearance, demeanor, and effort.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and stay on task when completing special projects and daily assignments.
  • Ability to maintain a strong work ethic, positive problem-solving attitude, and enthusiasm for the work performed.
