Job Description

The Senior Salesforce Business Analyst will be an integral member of the Global Distribution team responsible for a suite of Salesforce applications supporting finance, sales, legal and strategy business units.

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for engaging key stakeholders to provide day-to-day support. For new enhancements to the system, the analyst will gather requirements, and work in collaboration with the Salesforce COE to provide solutions to manual and outdated business processes.

This role will also work with key stakeholders across Sales, TV Distribution, FP&A, Marketing, and Legal & Strategy

Responsibilities will include:

·       Serve as primary contact to the user community, overseeing the collection and validation of business requirements for project initiatives.  Lead the requirements analysis/gathering, business process definition and design sessions with the business stakeholders to deliver new features.

·       Understand and communicate business goals and objectives.

·       Act as SME, and knowledge transfer to the Product and Technical teams. Will need to effectively communicate requirements and business processes.

·       Coordinate with other IT project teams within the organization to design and support interfaces with upstream/downstream source systems.

·       Provide expert trouble-shooting capabilities to assess, identify, and engage in resolution on reported application issues for daily production support of the application

·       Provide training, business support and guidance

·       Create and execute test cases when required

·       All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

·       Minimum 5+ years of client facing and business analysis experience.

·       Minimum of 3-5 years of solid experience with Salesforce

·       Experience with Salesforce Lightening components

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management IS or related fields; or equivalent relevant professional experience

·       Experience leading the business discussions and extracting and documenting business requirements.

·       Experience identifying gaps, risks, and impact for solution recommendations

·       Production support experience.

·       Must be willing to work in the Universal City office.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Experience with studio-based TV Distribution or finance systems as an analyst or consulting professional

·       Salesforce Admin certification

·       Experience with agile development methodology

·       Ability to run/write simple SQL queries for data analysis
