Position Summary
The Implementation Engineer Associate, athenaEDI (aIDX) will work closely with their customer counterparts to deliver solutions to meet customer business needs. The Implementation Engineer Associate will provide advanced technical support for customer business requirements including system configuration options and custom code solutions.
The Implementation Engineer Associate will listen to the customer challenge to create detailed specifications. Solutions will be complex and technical in nature and consist of advanced system configuration options and custom software development incorporating best practice workflow. Solutions will be designed, written, tested and managed from test to production environments to maintain system integrity.
While dedicated to working within the EDI Services applications in the aIDX revenue cycle systems the Implementation Engineer Associate must consider full system integration for robust best practice solutions and customer workflow.
athenaEDI (aIDX) Implementation Engineer Associates will troubleshoot exceptions, problems, rejections, payer responses, processing issues and all other EDI workflows as reported by customers, to provide satisfactory resolutions.
athenaEDI (aIDX) Implementation Engineer Associates will work with internal and third party resources, including customers, with details specific to large, complex and technical solutions to assist them in understating system process and end user workflows.

Use analytical process in troubleshooting to determine source of customer issue, problem or question
Provide advanced technical support for a single EDI solution
Engage with customers and third parties (payer, external vendor or internal to athena) on both definition of business problems and development of the associated technical solutions
Translate customer requirement into design specification, develop, test and train on advanced technical solutions to meet customer business objectives consistent with communicated expectations for timeline and quality
Manage multiple customers, projects and problems to completion simultaneously with exceptional levels of communication, support and customer satisfaction
Communicate clear expectations, deliverables, next steps and meet customer commitments
